About me

I never thought I would pursue a career as a creative when I was in university. While I’ve always been interested in art—thanks to my father’s influence, visiting museums, collecting postcards, and doodling in my notebook—it wasn’t until a Photoshop class in college that my perspective completely changed. I was fascinated by the software and realized that my sleepless nights weren’t because of deadlines but because of the sheer joy of creating.

I worked in sales at a real estate company for seven years. I enjoyed interacting with people from different roles and industries, and I especially liked creating marketing presentations and sales reports. After completing a major project, I started thinking about changing my career to something I felt more passionate about. I decided to move to Canada for a fresh start, and that’s where I finally discovered my path as a creative.

After graduating from college, I began working as a graphic designer at the nonprofit organization ‘National Indigenous Fire Safety Council.’ During my time there, I gained valuable experience working on a variety of projects, including conference branding, merchandise design, publication design, digital content creation, and animation. I have since transitioned to freelancing, with a focus on branding, publication design, and data visualization. I love seeing the satisfaction on a client’s face—it’s what motivates me to keep working and growing as a designer.
