Brand Identity
PAPER-YA
Role
Graphic Designer
Project
As a graphic designer, I developed the corporate brand identity for PAPER-YA, a retail store located in Vancouver. This process involved designing the logo, selecting appropriate typography, and establishing a cohesive color palette. I also created essential materials for the store, including shop cards, letterheads, social media posts, and tote bag designs.
One of the most challenging aspects was working with typography. It needed to be simple yet traditional to reflect the store’s long-standing history. To achieve this, I carefully combined sans-serif and serif fonts, striking a balance that conveyed a timeless and professional atmosphere, perfectly aligning with the store’s identity.
